The brief
Alice came to us with a deeply personal idea: create an indie fragrance inspired by maternal lineage, memory, and the quiet comfort of connection. Kindred was born - the scent was imagined as a love letter passed between generations—soft, warm, intimate, and familiar, like slipping into your favorite sweater.
To begin the process, emotional references, memories, textures, and olfactive preferences were translated through Osmo’s Olfactory Intelligence to create an initial fragrance direction. The result balanced warmth and softness with a modern, elevated sensuality—capturing nostalgia in a way that felt timeless yet contemporary
The formula
Our Olfactory Intelligence transformed memories and sensory references into a modern fragrance blueprint—capturing warmth, softness, and intimacy through rich fruit notes, delicate florals, and comforting woods. Renowned perfumer Christophe Laudamiel then built upon the AI-generated foundation, refining the composition into a fully realized scent designed to feel deeply personal, nostalgic, and effortlessly wearable.
Kindred
This custom fragrance wraps around the skin with warmth and softness, like a cherished memory revisited. Juicy black cherry and bright orange create a luminous opening, unfolding into a romantic heart of Bulgarian rose and creamy vanilla absolute. Sandalwood and patchouli ground the fragrance with a smooth, comforting depth, creating a scent that feels nostalgic, sensual, and quietly addictive.
The result
Kindred launched in Spring 2025 and sold out within just a few weeks - the fragrance was featured in leading fashion and beauty publications including Fashionista, InStyle, and L'OFFICIEL USA.
